Sophie Prayal-Brown

" Above all, I am an avid animal (no favourites, just about everything that moves) and nature lover, I love to hike, to read, to travel and to do wildlife photography. I have a diploma with honours in Ecotourism Management and I am currently doing my bachelor degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. I very much enjoy working outdoors with people who share similar interests in protecting our wildlife and cultural heritage. I've been an interpreter for the past 6 years working at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada and Fundy National Park. What I enjoy the most about being an interpreter is the relationship I build with my audience throughout my presentation. I like igniting curiosity and encouraging my public to ask questions. I strongly believe that word-of-mouth is one of the strongest tools used to educate and make a difference."
