Joggins Fossil Centre is open to the public from May to October and during our open season, the Manager of Outreach & Development will be busy with educational programming both on site and off.

When Joggins Fossil Centre is closed to the public, this will be a time for planning and fundraising.

The Manager of Outreach & Development needs to be a person with careful planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work alone and self-motivate. This position is a front facing one, which will require a lot of interaction with the public, including children, both digitally and on site. The ideal candidate will help develop this position with the help of the Directors. For the ideal candidate, on-site training and mentoring will be provided. Joggins Fossil Institute promotes work/life balance. Partial work from home is available.
