Dayle Morris-Quinn

Dayle is a lifelong resident of the River Hebert/Joggins area, has a keen interest in her community and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the world class Joggins Fossil Institute UNESCO heritage site.

Dayle has been employed with the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education (and predecessor School Boards) for over thirty eight years in the Finance and Accounting department. Dayle currently is the Coordinator of Financial Services responsible for the budgeting, accounting and forecasting of a budget in excess of $250 million annually. Dayle also oversees the accounting support and training for over 70 school sites in the region.

Dayle is a graduate of the River Hebert District High School, has a Diploma in Business Administration from Dalhousie University and has completed fourth level CPA-CGA courses. As well, Dayle has extensive training in internal controls, SAP accounting modules and Business Intelligence Reporting. Dayle is a member of the Financial Management Institute, and serves as Chair of the provincial Financial Reporting Group for Regional Education Centres.

Dayle is involved with a number of volunteer organizations in the community including the Brookside Curling Club (Past Treasurer), Dr. D.M. Cochrane Memorial Medical Centre (Treasurer), Cumberland Pastoral Charge (Past Treasurer), as well as the Joggins Fossil Institute (Treasurer).
